KV Camera Club

Activities

The KV Camera Club meets on the third Tuesday of most months at the Hammond River Angling Association Lodge in Nauwigewauk; many meetings feature invited speakers on a wide variety of photography-related topics.   The club organizes regular outings where members get together to photograph various locales and subjects, or share expertise in hands-on workshops.  The club also holds friendly competitions every few weeks.  This year's full activity list is in our schedule, but here's a quick taste of upcoming events:

Guests are welcome at our meetings; please contact the Secretary (<kvcc.secretary@gmail.com>) for further information.

New members are most welcome; annual membership costs $35, which can be paid in cash at one of our meetings, or by e-transfer to the Treasurer (<kvcc.tresur@gmail.com>); note that this is an immediate deposit with no verification required.  You can fill out the membership form at a meeting, or you can download and print it, fill it out in advance, then bring it to a meeting.

If you'd like to participate as a member of a committee, or as a member of next year's Executive Committee, please contact the Secretary (<kvcc.secretary@gmail.com>).

Here are some positions and tasks for which we'd welcome your contribution:

• President.

• Vice-President.

• Outings: assist the Outings Coordinator in finding new interesting outings and leading specific outings.

• Print Competitions: assist with gathering and judging prints for the upcoming print competitions in the 2025-26 season: "Black and White" and "Artistic Impression".

The club has a Facebook group where members can post images, information about outings, and local events that might be interesting to club members.
